London, MotherScan
In Wimbledon and Islington
MotherScan is our partner clinic in London, in Wimbledon and Islington. Your tests and monitoring scans take place there before you travel abroad, and your follow-up scans when you return. Family Art IVF organises the appointments; MotherScan performs the scans and tests.
Why the journey starts in London
Fertility treatment is not one appointment. It is a consultation, tests, scans at the right moments, and follow-up afterwards. With Family Art IVF, everything that can happen close to home happens in London, and you travel only for the treatment days, at DNA Clinic in Baku or Miracle Hospital in Cyprus.
That is why we work with our partner clinic in London, MotherScan. It is an established London clinic. Family Art IVF books your appointments and stays your point of contact; MotherScan carries out the scans and tests.
MotherScan has offered pregnancy, fertility and gynaecology scans and tests in London since 2023, and is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Its team includes GMC-registered doctors with a special interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, and sonographers with decades of experience in pregnancy and gynaecological ultrasound.

What happens at MotherScan
It starts with a free consultation with our UK team, then tests and scans at MotherScan before and after your days abroad.
Your consultation, with our UK team
Your free consultation is with Family Art IVF, not at MotherScan. Our UK team plans the next steps and books what you need, at MotherScan in London or at DNA Clinic in Baku, and stays your one point of contact.
Tests
Blood tests, a pelvic ultrasound scan and, for the male partner, a semen analysis, as your treatment requires.
Monitoring scans
Before you travel, scans check that your womb lining or your egg development is ready, so you go to the clinic at the right moment.
Follow-up scans
When you are back, your follow-up scans take place in London, so you are not waiting on another country for the next step.
All MotherScan services
MotherScan also offers these scans and tests, with no GP referral needed. Our UK team tells you the current price before you book.

Questions about your London appointments
What happens at MotherScan in London?
Your tests and monitoring scans before you travel, and your follow-up scans when you return. MotherScan is our partner clinic in London, in Wimbledon and Islington. Family Art IVF organises your appointments; MotherScan performs the scans and tests.
Do I pay MotherScan separately?
Yes. Your first step is a free consultation with our UK team. Tests and follow-up scans in London are paid separately to our partner clinic, MotherScan, at its own prices. Our UK team tells you which appointments you need and what they cost before you book.
Which tests do I need before treatment?
The list depends on your treatment. Most patients need hormone blood tests, a pelvic ultrasound scan, infectious disease screening and, for the male partner, a semen analysis. After your consultation you receive a checklist, and the tests are arranged in London so that your time abroad is used for treatment. Our UK team tells you exactly which tests you need during your consultation.
Can I use tests I already have from the NHS or another clinic?
Yes. You can have your tests wherever suits you: through the NHS, at another clinic or at our partner clinic MotherScan. Recent results are preferred, but you can send older ones too; our UK team tells you if any test needs repeating, then sends your results to DNA Clinic.
