The trigger injection A single injection, timed precisely, completes egg maturation so the eggs are ready for collection. Follow-up scans take place back in London, and the birth takes place in the UK. How long do I need to stay in Baku or Cyprus for IVF?+ Usually two short visits. Both partners come to Baku or Cyprus for egg collection day, and the eggs are fertilised the same day. The woman then returns alone for the embryo transfer, at least 5 days later.
